Welcome to the Temple Heart Center
A Message from the Chiefs
At the Temple Heart Center we care for patients with all forms of heart problems. Our goal is to provide the most appropriate treatment in a caring environment and return patients to their families, friends, and jobs with renewed vigor.
We have a long tradition of leadership in the region for developing new therapies in all areas of heart disease, especially for the most serious and complex cardiac problems. In 1984, the Temple Heart Center performed the first heart transplant in the Philadelphia region. Our nationally renowned cardiology team continues to build on this pioneering effort by offering the latest advances in detecting, diagnosing and treating heart disease. We also conduct numerous research efforts in all aspects of heart disease.
We never lose sight of our primary goal: To provide our patients and their families with high-quality care in a compassionate environment.
We invite you to explore this Web site and contact us if you would like additional information.
